Under The Bridge

Description

A view from a tourist boat under the Széchenyi Chain Bridge.

Budapest has many amazing architectural bridges in a variety of designs spanning many different periods.

This wonderful bridge spans the River Danube between the western and eastern sides of Budapest. It was designed by English engineer William Tierney Clark and built by Scottish engineer Adam Clark and was the first permanent bridge across the Danube in Hungary.

The beautiful architecture of Budapest is plain to see high on the other side.
